Mentorship Program

GEN offers mentorship opportunities to everyone at the Jackson school including students, postdocs, faculty, research scientists and staff.  The purpose of the mentor relationships is to focus on exploring the non-research aspects of a career in geosciences.

How does this work?

  • Undergrads will be paired with grad students
  • Graduate students and postdocs will be paired with faculty or research scientists
  • Junior faculty or research scientists will be paired with senior faculty or research scientists
  • Alumni can also mentor students interested in following their career path
